• Introduction of new techniques for the production of banana flour (registered by the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control-NAFDAC), for fishing and farming

Strengthening of communities and development of small businesses

• 3 communities joined the GRP in addition to the 22 already involved (amounting to a total of 25 communities)
• 5 cooperatives in addition to the 35 already in existence (amounting to a total of 40 cooperatives)
• the 15% increase in small businesses in 80 local communities bears witness to the company’s commitment to support microcredit and small business development programmes

• 548 people trained (20% women)
• Professional training in sectors useful to the community, including food security and IT
