In 2013 Eni achieved solid results in a particularly difficult market. The E&P Division confirmed its capability to deliver high profits and cash flow, which allowed, together with the portfolio rationalization, to deliver an increased net profit, to pay a generous dividend and to launch a buyback program, while maintaining a constant debt.
Eni reaffirms its strategy of profitable growth in the upstream and continuous engagement in rationalization, rightsizing and modernization in the mid and downstream, as well as profitability recovery in the Engineering & Construction segment.
